When you make a dress appointment at LOVE, we go all out exclusively for you 🤍
We close the boutique for each individual appointment so that you can enjoy a dedicated appointment with all the space you need to explore our dresses without any interruptions. Bridal shopping is a very personal and intimate experience that shouldn’t be compromised by other parties trying to have their special moment at the same time. Having full and exclusive access to our boutique avoids awkward moments, concerns over modesty, and allows you to fully immerse yourself in this extra special experience.
Our ground floor is brimming with beautiful gowns welcoming you as you enter the boutique and our entire first floor dressing room is exclusively yours for the duration of your appointment, allowing you to try on dresses without interruption, and make the most of this memorable moment with those closest to you.
In preparation for every appointment, we make sure your pre-selected dress are steamed, pressed and of course kept in tip top condition so you’re always getting the best dress vibes possible. Whether you’ve got a particular dress in mind or are leaning to the style of a specific designer, Charlotte and I are always on hand to guide and style you during your appointment. Charlotte has been on my LOVE team for over 6 years and our combined knowledge of dresses and designers is pretty insane. Whilst I’ve lived and breathed everything bridal couture for over a decade, Charlotte’s incredible knowledge of textiles and fabrics means we’ve got oodles of in-depth dress expertise guaranteed to help you find YOUR perfect gown.
As a loyal team of two, we build such a great relationship with our brides from that very first meeting to their wedding day. So you can rest easy that you won’t run into any issues with inexperienced Saturday staff or a high staff turnover.

Our luxurious personalised approach to bridal style means that when it comes to selecting designers, we make sure we’ve always got the best that bridal has to offer. If we’re not in the boutique tending to our brides-to-be, we’re researching trends or attending buying events – ultimately immersing ourselves in all things wedding!
Having a curated collection is a smaller boutique benefit that really helps brides avoid dress shopping fatigue (seriously – it’s a thing). We carefully select a range of different styles and designers without the choice becoming overwhelming. As we take time to hand pick every dress for our collection, we know we’ve got a fantastic array of styles, shapes and ‘looks’ to suit a variety of different tastes. This means we’re never nudging brides towards just one particular designer or style. The age old saying “I fell in love with a dress I never thought I would” can only happen when you’re given the option to try something you weren’t expecting. Brides often come to us with a phone full of imagery that’s focussed on one designer or style, only to find that they fall head over heels for a dress that is the opposite of what they expected! Spoiling our brides with a selection of stunning gowns is something we pride ourselves on.
We absolutely don’t profess to have a dress for everyone as we do have a certain bridal style aesthetic here at LOVE, but when our style matches the style of our brides, something truly magical happens.

We know that finding The One is a magical moment that many have been dreaming about since they were little (and we also know that not every bride can even imagine themselves in a wedding dress, so please don’t worry if you find the idea of trying on dresses daunting). However you feel about dress shopping, from the moment you walk into our beautiful boutique, we will take you under our tulle wings as we immerse you into the exciting world of bridal couture.
Our personal approach to bridal styling means we encourage you to share your vision for your big day and to include all the little details that matter to you. We take time to help you find your perfect bridal look with guidance on styles, accessories and designers that will match the vibe you’re looking for.
Once your dress has been decided upon and your order processed with the designer, we will be in touch with you to let you know its estimated delivery date and to arrange your complimentary Styling Appointment here at LOVE to celebrate your dress’ big arrival! Our Styling Appointments are a special (extra) part of our bespoke LOVE service ensuring we are working with you to perfect your look each step of the way.
At your Styling Appointment you’ll get to try on your ‘actual’ dress prior to any seamstress alterations. This gives you the chance to try any accessories such as veils, hair adornments, sleeves, wings and much more. We’ve got so many styling options to choose from and just like our gowns, we always carefully curate our accessories from a stunning selection of different designers so YOU can choose the right combination for your look. Some of our designers offer matching accessories which might be perfect for you, but if not then we have lots more options for you to choose from. So, whether you decide to mix your designers, opting for the veil from one, the dress from another and headpiece of another, the choice is totally yours and unique to you!

Being an independent boutique adds a bounty of benefits to our wedding network. We LOVE to work with and recommend like-minded businesses that are as committed and passionate as we are about creating the wedding wow factor for our brides-to-be. From entrusting your dress fittings to our recommended seamstress who has experience working on our dresses and LOVE designers, to local florist friends who create the most stunning bridal bouquets (and gorgeous displays for our boutique) to our yummy local bakery that makes the most delicious treats (their divine mini brownies are part of our bride tribe refreshment treats) we are lucky to have such a wealth of amazing local suppliers that we’ve worked with and share our ethos. Whether it’s having the insider tips for the best local venues, party-starting entertainers or sourcing an amazing photographer (we’re looking at you Jonny Draper!), we have an extensive list of trusted suppliers that can help you plan and perfect your special day.

Located in the heart of the iconic market town of Altrincham (recently voted one of the most stylish neighbourhoods in the UK!), in a charming four-storey Victorian building, LOVE is the perfect destination for brides searching for exceptionally beautiful gowns combined with an extra special boutique experience. Altrincham is perfectly removed from the hectic city vibes, with a more understated stylish, vibrant atmosphere which is reflected in the fantastic array of thriving independent shops and businesses and has fast become a foodie hotspot too, attracting visitors from near and far.
Our high street is a treasure trove of home and lifestyle stores, quaint coffee shops, independent bakeries and florists that are lovely to have a wander around before or after your dress appointment. With the famous Altrincham Market full of gorgeous local produce and so many sought-after restaurants and bars, it’s the perfect place to visit if you want to extend your appointment into an even bigger occasion with lunch or cocktails.
Despite sitting outside of the city, Altrincham is extremely well connected with lots of regular tram and bus links, so you won’t have any difficulty finding us. We are also just off the M56/M60 motorways and a few minutes drive away from Manchester Airport too which has proved super handy for our international brides!
