High-styled, non traditional brides… this designer is for you. Think iconic, fashion-forward gowns with an unexpected twist!
Founded in 2014 by long-time friends Angel Spendlove and Lisa Blunt, & For Love embodies a distinct and modern aesthetic that seamlessly blends romance with a touch of edginess. The brand focuses on pieces for modern women looking for a timeless yet rebellious approach to their bridal style; and uses materials with the highest quality fabrications, including 100% silk and linen, as well as non-traditional materials such as micro sequins and geometric lace.
The gowns exude a contemporary allure, featuring clean lines, unique silhouettes, and surprising details that set them apart. Their style shows a commitment to redefining traditional bridal fashion, embracing innovative cuts, and incorporating luxurious fabrics to create dresses that are both chic and timeless. We can’t get enough of their fresh, alternative vibe and the astonishing contemporary-yet-feminine edge this designer brings to every dress. With four of their gowns already here in the boutique (yay!) we already know & For Love is going to be a firm favourite with our brides.
Let’s start with Auldyn, & For Love’s most iconic gown with their signature puff sleeves, pockets and voluminous ballgown skirt. With a stunning low back and equally daring deep V neckline, this dress is cool as hell! Sculptural, but playful, Auldyn is here to cause a stir and is available in linen or crepe. We love her rebellious edge as well as all that skirt volume! This is one backless gown you won’t ever want to take off.
Next, meet Auldyn’s sleek sister Ada – she’s everything we love about Auldyn, but with a super flattering column skirt and super sexy side split. What she doesn’t have in volume she makes up for with her stylish silhouette. Ada rocks femininity with an edge. She’s effortlessly cool and the perfect twist on a traditional bridal vibe.
We love these two gowns and their achingly effortless style that’s all expertly wrapped up with low-key luxe. What’s more, they’re both available as mini dresses too! Tapping into a key trend for 2024, Ada Mini is in the boutique now and is the perfect party dress, especially as a second ensemble for late night dancing.
And then finally, we have Oceans. Crafted from opulent, flowing silk, this stunning gown glides with graceful poise. The billowing sleeves add a touch of theatrical flair, while the fitted bodice boasts a daring plunge and captivating open back. Finally Oceans full skirt includes pretty pockets, finishing this contemporary design beautifully.
